Expiry tracker

Track passport, visa & BRP expiry dates

In shortVisaKnot's expiry tracker stores your passport, visa and BRP expiry dates and reminds you at 180, 90, 30, 15, 7 and 1 days before each date, so nothing lapses unexpectedly. Reminders run on your phone and work offline.

Why expiry dates matter

Family and spouse applications often depend on documents that must be in date, and an expired passport or permission can cause delays. Keeping every important date in one place, with early warnings, means you have time to check the guidance and act.

How the reminders work

Add each document and its expiry date. VisaKnot shows a clear status — valid, expiring soon, or expired — and schedules on-device reminders ahead of time. Your dates stay on your phone; nothing is posted to a server for the reminders to work.

Timing is your decision

When you can renew or extend depends on your route and current permission, which is set out on GOV.UK. VisaKnot reminds you of your dates; it does not tell you whether or when to apply. If you are unsure, speak to a regulated adviser.

Not legal advice. VisaKnot is a document-organisation tool, not a law firm or immigration adviser. It does not assess eligibility, recommend a route, or judge whether your evidence is enough. Always check the current guidance on GOV.UK and, for advice about your situation, speak to an adviser registered with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) or an SRA-regulated solicitor.
